Thank you, Sunshine

Must thank Sunshine for recommending Soon I Will Be Invincible. Finished it tonight. Some cursing but otherwise very fine! It begs for a climactic ending. But, alas, it simply leaves room for more. Which, I suppose, is for the best.

spoiler: Kinda wish CoreFire had stayed dead though. No offense to him. :P

I'm glad you enjoyed it! With your liking for villains I thought you would.

And it does have a climactic ending: Doctor Impossible captures the heroes and puts his evil plan into action! Who can save us now? Good (inevitably) triumphs over Evil, even if it's not that simple, and besides that, Dr. Impossible's issues with CoreFire and Lily are resolved. And Once Again The Day Is Saved.

But, of course, it leaves room for more because that's the nature of the stories it's based upon. CoreFire wasn't really going to be dead: how many times have DC declared the death of Superman? It never sticks. Equally, villains - like the Joker, Lex Luthor, or Dr. Drakken - never stay in jail for long. There's more stories to make (and comics to sell...)

Great fun, though, wasn't it?

Indeed, it was. Somehow, I thought there would be more of a meeting between Fatale and Impossible than the latter getting punched out... but I suppose it was meant to be a bit tragic. In my interpretation, anyway. :)
